Origin of moisture problems
Not all moisture issues have the same origin or the same solution. They may be caused by infiltration, rising damp, condensation or plumbing failures. The expert report identifies the cause with objective evidence — infrared thermography, waterproofing tests, hygrometer — and determines responsibilities under CTE DB-HS.
When is an expert report needed?
When moisture reappears after repairs, when the origin is disputed between the homeowner association and the property owner, when a claim needs to be filed against the builder within the warranty period (LOE art. 17), or when the insurer rejects the claim.

02 Can the origin be detected with thermography?
Infrared thermography detects temperature differences indicating hidden moisture. Combined with hygrometer readings and waterproofing tests, it reliably locates the source.
