As regards the storage of information on the user's device, this policy implements Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002, of 11 July, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSICE) and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). It supplements the Privacy Policy, which governs the processing of the personal data provided through this website.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser and that is returned to the server with every subsequent request, allowing the browser to be recognised across pages and across visits. Alongside cookies there are other mechanisms for storing information on the device, such as the browser's local storage, which are described in sections 4 and 5 of this policy.
2. Cookies used by this website
This website only sets analytics cookies, belonging to Google Analytics 4, and only if you accept them in the consent notice. No advertising, personalisation or profiling cookies are used.

Both are stored on the perito.barcelona domain by Google's measurement script, and no other cookie is declared or set by this website. The BHS8JR7NSY suffix is the identifier of the Google Analytics measurement container used on this site.
3. What happens if you do not accept
If you do not accept, or if you expressly reject, no cookie is set. Measurement then continues in an anonymous, cookieless mode: the site sends Google aggregate page-view measurements, with no persistent identifier and no way to link one visit to another or to recognise your browser on later visits. This cookieless measurement still transmits to Google the technical data inherent to any web request, including the IP address, which according to Google's documentation is used to infer an approximate location and is not logged in Google Analytics.
The consent notice does not condition access to any content on the site: rejecting costs exactly the same as accepting.
4. Where your choice is stored
Your decision is stored in your browser's local storage (localStorage), under the key pb_consent, holding three items: the version of this policy, the choice made (accepted or rejected) and the date on which it was made.
Local storage is a space within the browser itself where a website can keep a value on your device. It is not a cookie: unlike cookies, it is not sent to the server with every request. The value of pb_consent stays in your browser and is not transmitted to perito.barcelona, to Google or to any third party.
You will be asked again 12 months after your choice, or sooner if the version of this policy changes in respect of the cookies declared here.
5. Other information stored in your browser
In addition to the consent choice, the site may store the following items in session storage (sessionStorage), which the browser clears when the tab is closed. These are not cookies either, and they are not sent to the server on their own.

Neither of these two keys contains identifying data or the contents of the forms.
6. Anonymous technical performance measurement
Regardless of your choice about cookies, this website collects a technical measurement of page performance based on the Core Web Vitals metrics: LCP, INP, CLS, FCP and TTFB. Alongside each metric, the only data recorded are the page path, the language, the document's delivery type, the connection type reported by the browser, whether the device is mobile, and whether the visit comes from Google's results cache.
This measurement uses no cookies, does not access device storage and employs no identifier capable of recognising a person or following them across pages. The data is stored in aggregate form on the analytics infrastructure of Cloudflare, this website's hosting provider, without logging the IP address; the IP is used transiently and in memory only to cap the number of submissions per minute and prevent abuse.
Since it involves neither storage of, nor access to, information on the device, this measurement falls outside the scope of Article 22.2 LSSICE and requires no consent. The legal basis for the processing is the controller's legitimate interest in knowing and improving the technical performance of its website (Article 6.1.f GDPR). You may object to this processing on the terms set out in section 6 of the Privacy Policy.
7. Anti-bot verification on forms
The contact forms include the Cloudflare Turnstile verification widget, which is necessary to prevent automated submissions. It is a security measure strictly required in order to provide the service requested by the user. [PENDING: confirm in Cloudflare's documentation whether Turnstile stores or reads information on the device in the configuration used and, if so, declare the key, duration and purpose here.]
8. How to withdraw or change your consent
The footer of every page on this website contains a "Cookies" link that reopens the consent notice so that you can change your decision at any time. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it and has no consequences for your use of the site.
If you withdraw consent, the website stops using the analytics cookies. Any _ga cookies previously set remain in your browser until they expire or until you delete them, even though they are no longer used; the next section explains how to delete them.
9. How to delete cookies from your browser
Every browser lets you view, block and delete the cookies and other data a website has stored on your device. The setting is in the privacy section of the browser's preferences:
- Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security.
- Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security.
- Safari: Settings → Privacy.
- Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
Note that the "cookies and site data" deletion option also clears local storage, that is, the pb_consent key holding your choice. The next time you visit the site, the consent notice will be shown again.
Blocking cookies entirely in your browser does not prevent you from using this website, which works normally without any of them.
10. Recipients and international transfers
The analytics cookies described in section 2, as well as the cookieless measurement described in section 3, involve disclosing data to Google as the provider of the Google Analytics tool, which may entail an international transfer of data to a country outside the European Economic Area. [PENDING: confirm which Google entity is the contracting party for the European Economic Area and the applicable transfer mechanism — EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses — under the data processing agreement entered into with Google.]
The technical performance measurement described in section 6 is processed on the infrastructure of the website's hosting provider and contains no identifying data.
11. Changes to this policy and applicable version
The version of this policy in force is version 1, of 6 September 2026. The consent notice stores that version together with your choice: when the policy changes in respect of the cookies declared here, the version will be incremented and your consent will be requested again.
