Role of the construction expert
The construction expert analyses the failure from its origin — design, site supervision or construction — and documents it in a technical report structured in accordance with the LEC, suitable for ratification before a court. The analysis is carried out in accordance with the Spanish Building Code (CTE) and applicable regulations.
Scope of practice
Hidden defects after purchase, renovations with finishing defects, unresolved moisture issues, disputes in homeowner associations and engagements for law firms. The Civil Engineering degree (ECCAT nº 16448) specifically qualifies for the analysis of structure and foundations under the CTE.
